M-csf for preventing or treating myeloid cytopenia and related complications following hematopoetic stem cell transplantation

The invention relates to a method for preventing or treating myeloid cytopenia and related complications such as infections in patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The approach is based on the priming of the hematopoietic stem cell graft with M-CSF following HSCT.
